This forum exists to make pilotage preparation less solitary and less opaque.
There’s no official training path for a lot of this work, and most of what people learn comes from experience, repetition, and conversations that happen piecemeal over years. The goal here is simply to give deck officers a place to share information, ask questions, and compare notes in a professional, low-key way.
Use this space for:

Questions about specific areas or passages

Sharing practice charts (memory drawings, screenshots, PDFs) for comment

Talking through exam preparation or expectations

Posting notes, tips, or observations you think might help someone else

Or posting something “just because” you think it’s worth discussing
For now, everything is informal and forum-based. If people want to talk something through in more detail, that can happen organically—possibly even by phone or video down the road, as schedules allow—but there’s no structure or obligation around that yet.
Introduce yourself by adding your picture (or not!) and any information about yourself and your interests to your profile that you care to share.

Nothing here is official, authoritative, or exhaustive. It’s a shared workspace for deck officers helping each other think things through.
If you have a question, ask it.
If you have something to share, post it.
If you just want to read and observe for a while, that’s fine too.
